Residential design trends showcased

Anyone considering a custom-home build or a residential renovation may want to free up some time on Sunday when the Homebuilders Association of Vancouver once again presents its Parade of Renovated and Custom Homes.

The 24th annual self-guided tour, which takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., represents “a unique opportunity to view the latest custom home and renovation design trends,” says a prepared release detailing the event.

“Our participating builders are offering homeowners the rare opportunity to see first-hand what it takes to build above code with award-winning results, many of which entitle the homeowner to energy-saving rebates too,” said  association CEO Bob de Wit.
